- A comprehensive 8-1 win over Al-Nassr confirmed gold at Riyadh’s Green Halls
Al-Yamamah have won the Women’s Futsal Tournament taking place this Ramadan after defeating Al-Nassr 8-1 in the final on Saturday at the Green Halls in Riyadh.
Al-Yamamah dominated from the start and led 4-0 at the break. Four more goals followed in the second half for the victors, with Al-Nassr only managing a solitary consolation strike.
In the third place play-off match, Al-Ittihad overcame Regional Training Center 2-1 to take bronze.
Thursday’s semifinals had seen Al-Yamamah defeat Al-Ittihad 6-4 in an exciting, end-to-end encounter, while Al-Nassr beat Regional Training Center 3-1.
